The tools I use range from digital to traditional and I have expertise in both methods. The final application for each project influences the medium used. My initial process starts with rough thumbnails to find the best composition for each story. Then I make meticulous drawings to create unique character designs and worlds for the reader to step into. I make detailed “color maps” to provide a final color palette. Flexibility is key to my process.
